Is there some tradition in particular that each year puts you into the Christmas (or Hanukkah or Kwanzaa or Festivus) mood? Maybe not the cheery, sugary, “peace on earth, goodwill towards men/women/human/animal/plant/atomic structure” mood, but the “hey, its that time of year” mood. For me it is listening to “The Police at Christmas” recording that I made back in 1984 off of a radio special on WMMS 100.7FM in Cleveland, Ohio. I pretty much just listen to it at this time of year. It amazingly has held up all of these years; not too much degradation. The show featured live and studio recordings from the various albums, interviews with the band members and managers telling about their Christmas memories, and recordings from their solo projects. If you were/are a big fan of The Police, it is an excellent program. I need to transfer the tape to CD sometime soon before it wears out.

Stop. Think. Suicide is not the answer.

You may have heard about this latest teen suicide on the news. I live in a neighboring township. I was at the middle school just this past weekend. I run past the high school all the time. I eat at the restraunt that bears his family's name. "Tragedy" doesn't begin to describe it. I didn't know the family, but the community just doesn't seem like a place where this could happen. Stop. Think. Suicide is not the answer. Stop. Think.

An Informal Survey

I've noticed over the last 6 months or so that we have sex most often and more frequently just before "Aunt Flo" comes to visit us each month for a week. I have a hunch that it might be the pheromones she gives off at that time. I hope this isn't too gross of a subject for you. So, male and female readers, if you don't have sex frequently throughout the month, do you recall having it more often just before her period starts as compared to other times of the month?

I've been tagged..."6 Weird Things"

I've been tagged by Mike and Eva

Each player of this game starts with the '6 weird things about you.' People who get tagged need to write a blog of their own 6 weird things as well as state this rule clearly. In the end, you need to choose 6 people to be tagged and list their names. Don't forget to leave a comment that says 'you are tagged' in their comments and tell them to read your blog."Weird" as defined as "sufficiently different from the norm to make the average reader say 'Huh?" or 'Hmmmm'." Leave out sexual traits, since you know most of them by now, and concentrated on personality quirks that we hope you might find interesting, if not truly deviant. The six lucky (or not) new participants are named at the end of this entry.

This is a tough one - the more blogs I read, the less weird I think I am. Anyway, I list the them here as required.

1. "The details of my life are quite inconsequential... very well, where do I begin? My father was a relentlessly self-improving boulangerie owner from Belgium with low grade narcolepsy and a penchant for buggery. My mother was a fifteen year old French prostitute named Chloe with webbed feet. My father would womanize, he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. My childhood was typical. Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When I was insolent I was placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds- pretty standard really. At the age of twelve I received my first scribe. At the age of fourteen a Zoroastrian named Vilma ritualistically shaved my testicles. There really is nothing like a shorn scrotum... it's breathtaking- I highly suggest you try it." Ok, so I'm not Dr. Evil (or even his son Scott (the Diet Coke of evil)). But I do keep the scrotum shorn and would like to be beaten by Vilma...

2. Crossdressing. Sure, there are a lot of crossdressers out there, more than you might think. I'm not into crossdressing to be able to "pass" in public, nor do I want to be a woman. I enjoy the feeling of wearing women's' clothes. I love the feeling of wearing hosiery, wearing the various styles of panties and bras. I always wear women's panties, and frequently hosiery, under my male clothes. When I wear women's clothes that can be seen in public, it is more of an androgynous look - pants, jeans, simple blouses. Never a dress with two-days growth on my face! lol

3. Maybe I have an OCD (obsessive-compulsive disorder). I should have been an accountant. I keep track of my personal income & expenses every month on a spreadsheet and graph the results & trends. I log all the miles I run every month and keep a running total for the year. I log all the races I run in - distance, time, pace, bib number, and average the results. When I look at Leg Show magazine, I rate every woman's pictorial based on the number of breasts, feet, legs, ass, pussy, and face shots are in each picture. (Tell me that's not weird, lol!) My CD collection used to be in alphabetical order and divided by genre until she started moving things around.

4. My deep, dark fantasies are a bit weird. I've written a few of them here, and there are always lots more floating around in my heads (you know, the one on my shoulders and the one on the end of my cock). Most involve humiliation, submission, bondage, and crossdressing. What I wouldn't do to serve a woman (or women) that treats me like crap all the while wearing women's clothes. I'd also love to do nothing but bring her to (multiple) orgasms while my sexual needs go unfulfilled. This is probably something most people would think "I just don't understand this. wouldn't men want to be the dominant one?" But that's why its on the list.

5. I still like watching Star Trek when I get a chance. I also like watching anime films (or Japanimation to others). Some of the better films are so much better drawn than American films, e.g., Akira, Ghost in the Shell, Wings of Honneamise. And then there's the other stuff that's just fun to watch, e.g., Speed Racer, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Urusei Yatsura, Project A-Ko.

6. I have a fetish for women's feet, women's hosiery-clad legs & feet, and seeing women in nice shoes that display their feet. I'm drawn to them like iron to a magnet. Tease me relentlessly with a glimpses of your legs or feet. Keep me guessing if you are wearing stockings or pantyhose. I'll be putty in your hands. The ultimate pleasure is a footjob after you've allowed me to give you a foot massage.

Rather than pick six others, I'll let the readers take this task upon themselves. Just let me know that you've done it so I can read your list.

Argh! Its been one of those last couple of weeks. Nothing seems to be going completely right. There's always that small detail that is wrong that throws everything off kilter. It is very frustrating to say the least. Just when I think things are going to be completed, something happens and more work is required to finish. I haven't been posting lately due to this. I hope to find more time in the near future. The frustration leads to desires to crossdress more and more, to escape to somewhere to get away from it all for a short time, to have many orgasms. I feel the desire to go beyond wearing the day-to-day panties and hosiery, to go shopping for some new girl-clothes, especially some heels. As soon as I can finish this crap....

Buckeyes 12-0!! #1!!

Did you see The Game?! What a game!! Very evenly matched teams, if you ask me. There were a few times I just about thought victory would be snatched away from Ohio State's hands, but both teams seemed to make game-breaking mistakes that evened it out. Read more about it here. Regardless, there is no doubt who the top ranked team in the nation is: The Buckeyes of The Ohio State University!!
Race report: I ran in the Philly Marathon yesterday. No, not the whole thing (yet). I was part of a rely team. The four members in our team ran legs of 10 miles, 4 miles, 6 miles, and 6.2 miles. I had the 6-mile leg. Not sure what my time was as I wasn't wearing a watch and the time clocks weren't set up near the switching points. I felt like I ran pretty well. So well that, after passing the ID chip to my teammate, I ran the last 6.2 miles to the finish line. Feeling great today! I really enjoy running in these large races. Its fun to run with a lot of people and socialize. What is interesting about running the relay is having fresh legs and running faster than almost everyone else is in the second half of the race. I sometimes felt bad that I was passing people with ease when they were obviously having trouble just to keep going. I will be one of them some day...

Its been a crazy week!! Argh!! I'm too stressed out right now!! I need some private time to "work on things", hint, hint, nudge, nudge, say no more, say no more. It seems like time compresses greatly just before the holidays. Things that were simple before become almost unmanageable. The timelines at work start getting shorter and more activities get added to them.

This weekend is the game. OSU vs. Michigan, both teams undefeated, at "The 'shoe" in Columbus. I have a feeling that I might become busy, again (see above paragraph), to see any or all of the game. This has happened more times than I care to count. Argh!!

Monday, November 06, 2006

The Buckeyes are now 10-0 after beating Illinois last weekend. I didn’t see it as I was out shopping for a new dining room table. This weekend is Northwestern, then that university up north (who’s name I just don’t say in polite company) comes down to Columbus for the final game.

“The Trouble with Tribbles” was the latest remastered Star Trek episode to air. I’m really getting used to the new CGI effects after watching the old versions on DVD. The planets do look a lot better, as do the perspectives from which the ships are filmed (well, they really aren’t “filmed”, but what’s the right word?). If they could somehow make the ships look less CGI-ed, they’ed really have it nailed.

I had a strange dream Saturday night that brings to mind the question “What if?”. I’m writing this down just so I can think it though, so no comments are necessary. It was one of those dreams that involves people from different times of my life that in no way could have known each other or been in the same place in real life. Do you have dreams like these? I have them more often than others. What made this one stand out is that it involved a particular girl that I knew in college. No, not involved like you’re thinking (I wish it did!). In fact, I can’t even remember how she was involved in the dream.

Anyway, when I was in college, we started off in the same class (along the way I switched to the 5-year plan). I knew who she was, and to me, she was absolutely beautiful, had a great personality (very down to earth), was in the top few of the class, and came from a very well-to-do family. (My best friend thought she talked way too much and was just another brainiac to be avoided as they ruined the grading curve for average folks like us.) I admired her from a few rows back in the various classes we took together. I assumed all along that she had no idea who I was. As time went by, we got to be on a first-name basis, but no further as we had different circles of friends. Luckily by her senior year, I was fortunate to spend some time with her at a couple of events where we weren’t with our usual circles of friends. Me, being the shy, low self-esteemed geek, didn’t try to take things any further than just spending those few days hanging out together. At the time I figured that since she would be graduating a year ahead of me and near the top of the class, that she’d not be interested in me. I wish someone would have smacked me up side the head and yelled “Get a clue!!!” (Ironically, my friend that couldn’t stand the brainiacs in the class ahead of us went on to date and marry another one of them. I guess all of my preaching to him that there was no reason to dislike them actually sunk in, lol.)

I lost touch with her after she graduated, and then I moved to another state after my graduation. By chance a couple of years later I went back to the city where I went to school with some friends, and I ran into her at a “First Friday” art gallery crawl that I hadn’t even planned on attending. We talked a bit, and, again, me being a dork, didn’t follow through. She was in law school. Again, I wish someone would have smacked me up side the head and yelled “Get a clue!!!” Long story short, I Googled her and found that she’s married and a very successful lawyer.

So I was thinking yesterday “What if…I had perused her? Where would I be now? What would life be like?” Tough to say. That assumes that she had the same feelings for me back then. Perhaps she did. Perhaps she didn’t. Perhaps she just thought of me as an acquaintance. Perhaps. But then I wouldn’t be where I am now. I would not be blessed with the friends and family I have here. I would not be enjoying the things in life that I now do. I would not be the me that I am. Or perhaps…

One reader asked recently if I'm going to crossdress for Halloween this year. I'm not. I do really want to. I really, really, really want to. I just don't have a party to go to. Over the weekend some friends and I met at a bar to have a "surprise" birthday party for me and the bar had a costume contest that I didn't know about. Had I know, I might have dressed up. There was one guy dressed as a cocktail waitress and the other as a Playboy bunny, both quite comical. And being comical is the key to pulling it off. Had I dressed up and not been, people might have thought that I was much too comfortable and at ease in women's clothes for just Halloween. And I think my outfit would have fit me much better then theirs did.

Oh, and the Buckeyes are 9-0!!!

Book MeMe

I copied this meme from Hiromi:

1. One book that changed your life.
Not really an earth-shattering change, but Dune by Frank Herbert (science fiction) really drove home the concept of conservation and recycling.

2. One Book That You've Read More Than Once.
I can't just stop at one: Dune (and the rest of the series that Frank wrote), The Lord of the Rings series, The Joy of Homebrewing, Cosmos, and a bunch of the '70's Star Trek books.

3. One Book That You'd Want On A Deserted Island: Gardening for One on a Desert Island. No, its not a real book.

4. One Book That Made You Laugh: Sienfeld

5. One Book That Made You Cry.
None that I can think of, although my differential equations math course book in college made me come close to crying in frustration.

6. One Book That You Wish You Had Written.
SPC for the Rest of Us. Its a great book on explaining statistical process control. I'm not a statistician, but this book really made sense of the subject to me.

7. One Book You Wish Had Never Been Written.

Don't know. I'm sure there's one that is so poorly written that it doesn't make any sense to anyone but the author.

8. One Book That You Are Reading Right Now.
I'm between books right now. The next one will be Dune: The Machine Crusade. As I mentioned in a previous post, these new books aren't as great as the originals, but its interesting to see how the stories develop.

9. One Book That You Have Been Meaning To Read.
I've a long list of them. I've read several science fiction "Best of..." Compilations of various authors' short stories that I'd like to read more of some of the authors.

10. Tag five others that you would like to do this meme.
To quote Hiromi "Anyone who's reading this, but please let me know in comments so I can go have a look."
The Buckeyes are now 8-0 after beating Indiana last weekend. I was not able to watch it as it was broadcast on ESPN-U which my cable provider doesn’t. Minnesota is up this weekend, and hopefully it will be on a channel that I receive.

This is going to be a busy weekend as I have two 5K races, one Saturday morning and the other Sunday morning. I haven’t run back-to-back races before, so I’m interested in seeing how I’ll perform on Sunday.

“Arena” was the latest remastered Star Trek episode to aire. I’m getting used to the new CGI effects. Call me a nit-picker, but a blinking Gorn?! Is nothing sacred?! rotflmao

Star Trek Remastered

Has anyone been watching the remastered original series Star Trek? What do you think? If you don't like to hear me nit-pick, just move along....

I have mixed feelings after watching a few of the episodes. The first thing I don't like is the updated opening theme music. They added a female voice to it. That is not what I don't like, it actually sounds pretty good. The original music changed from season to season, so just by listening to the music, I could identify in which season that episode was made. Sure, I know which episode belongs to which season by title (or even within the first 30 seconds of watching a specific episode).

They're also using CGI to replace the planets and the Enterprise when viewed from space, as well as some details within the ship. The planets look beautiful. In the episode I, Mudd, the android Norman opens a panel on his stomach to show Kirk that his is an android. This was CGI'ed in the remaster. Sure, it looks good and the effect is smoothly inlaid. However, the "roughness" of late '60's TV production and special effects technology are two of the things that gave the series character. (Remember when The Twilight Zone recorded a few episodes using tape rather than film?) The new effects just look too "new" to me to blend in seamlessly.

And scenes are landing on the cutting room floor. I don't know if this is something that the local TV station or the production company is doing. For example, in The City on the Edge of Forever, in the scene where the guy takes McCoy's phaser when McCoy passes out in the alley, the part where he overloads the phaser and is obliterated was cut. Not a big scene in the episode, but it makes on wonder how much more is being removed.

Ok, I'll take my Spock ears off now...

Argh!! My blog is not gone. Saturday night I was working on the format of my blog on a different computer that I usually use. Something happened during the editing process and, poof!, it was lost. I didn't realize it was gone until this morning. Its a good thing I had the template backed-up. A word of advice: Back up your template NOW!!

The college football season is really starting to get interesting with the release of the BCS poll. OSU is ranked #1. Michigan is still unbeaten. OSU plays Michigan on 11/18. Assuming both teams remain unbeaten until then, this will be the big game of the season. (Note to self - clear calendar for 11/18, buy beer and pretzels on 11/17.)

10,000 Hits!!

Thank you!!! My appreciation to all of you that frequently read or just stopped by once. Without you, just counting my hits here may have only totaled 8,000 or so. Hopefully my blog has provided you with some information, entertainment, or just something to divert your attention from life's challenges. I hope that my future posts continue to do the same.

The Buckeyes beat BGSU last Saturday! Their record is now 6-0! The game was not broadcast out here in Philly, and the newspaper didn’t have much to say about it, so I can only imagine that it was a blow-out as the score suggested. On to Michigan State this weekend.

Have you read this book, "My Girlfriend Comes to the City and Beats Me Up" by Stephen Elliott (Cleis Press)
? I have not as of yet, however, I will. They say not to judge a book by its cover, but the cover is what attracted me to it. If there is any one pose for a picture that I’m particularly fond of, it is similar to the cover photo – the woman sitting, legs crossed at the knees, and her suspended foot dangling in front so as to expose the sole of her foot. It displays the legs and feet/shoes very well. With the perspective of the viewer below the woman, the viewer is in an overtly submissive position, under her foot and she’s looking down. In this specific picture, she’s obviously dominant – dangling handcuffs, leather or vinyl fetish clothing, the expression on her face. I wonder if this was a real picture that they then Photoshopped, or if were a painting. If it were a real picture, I’d love to see more of them.

Speaking of books, does anyone else read science fiction? Specifically, the Dune series? I read, and have re-read several times, the original novels by Frank Herbert since I was a teen. Great stuff if you’re looking for my recommendation. Lately, I’ve been reading the new books by his son, Brian Herbert, and Kevin Anderson. What do you think about them? They are good stories, but not as well written as Frank’s. They read rather quickly, whereas Frank’s were a bit more meaty.

Another great weekend in a number of areas. The Buckeyes won again, 5-0! The first half of the game could have gone either way. Once Iowa threw an interception, the game was pretty much in OSU's hands. Next week: Bowling Green at home. Although not financially advantageous, it would be more interesting to see the game at Bowling Green: small stadium, big demand for tickets. It would be the biggest thing to hit BGSU in a long time.

The race was also a success: I placed second in my age group. This will probably be the last time this happens in a while as my birthday later this month will push me up into the next age group and more competition. Not that I'm a fast runner, I just got lucky to run a personal best time in a small race. If the race were twice as big, it never would have happened. The hot chick that I see at all of the races was there as well. I was hoping to run with her as I tried to do in the last race (and I was never able to catch up to her). I started out quickly, hoping she'd pass me at some point, but she ended up about 10 seconds behind me. I’ll see her again at two races later this month.

I’ve made a few updates in the last few days. I changed my icon; although a more appropriate caption would be “I pledge allegiance to my panties.” And I’ve gone through all of my links and re-grouped them. If you see yours and you don’t like where it’s at, just let me know and I’ll move it appropriately. If you don’t see yours, let me know and I’ll add it.

I’ve another 5K race on Sunday. Today my throat is starting to get sore. Hopefully, I will be able to run a good race. My last couple of runs were pretty good, so I’m hoping to do well, at least better than the last time I ran this same course.

Thankfully the Buckeyes won last week’s battle against the Nittany Lions. The rain certainly had an effect on the game, making me wonder if either team could score in the first half. Luckily, the rain stopped and OSU got their game back together and they won. If it weren’t for PSU’s mistakes, the score not have been as lopsided. This week the Buckeyes travel to Iowa. They are one of those teams that give every opponent a tough time.

New underwear: I recently received an offer from Jockey that if I bought more than $30 in underwear I could get a free pair of their men’s underwear in the new 3D fabric and I could get $10 off the order. Seeing that I don’t have any men’s underwear I figured I try a pair since they’d be free. So I ordered enough women’s panties and a bra to get them. Jockey is starting to make better women’s panties & bras, not just the plain old stuff, so I was happy with my selections when they arrived. I put them on after taking a shower. They felt very comfortable and looked good too. I was curious about the men’s briefs, actually a bikini style. I put them on and had two reactions: the material felt great, and the coverage was way too much. The 3D material feels somewhat like some of the panties I have as it is a blend of spandex and cotton. I think they are definitely on to something with it. For men’s briefs, they fit okay. I just wish they were a bit skimpier – lighter waistband and smaller cut – more like women’s panties. I’ll keep them for the few times where I might need to wear them, but I honestly can’t think of when that might be.

Last Week – This Week

To my few regular readers and to those that just stumble into my blog: Yes, I realize that my blog has been getting tamer lately. Not enough sex and crossdressing tales to tell to keep your attention and attract new readers. Excuses are many, and none are accpetable: The summer months are just so busy between work and yard/house activities that I just haven’t had much time for action and adventure (“A Jedi seeks not these things.”).

And I seem to be spending more time surfing the net and blogsphere for juicy porn and blogs, and making comments on blogs, to do any appreciable writing. I’ve been collecting a lot of URLs with which I someday hope to update my links. My links need pruning – some blogs are out of service, some haven’t been updated in a long time, some I’m just not interested in anymore. I hope to do this soon.

Recap of last weekend:

  • The birthday flowers for her were/are still gorgeous. The main gift that I gave her was a running skirt and top. Tip for the ladies: running skirts are extremely sexy. If you are a runner, play tennis, engage in other athletic activities, or just want to look like you do, buy one!! Ok, so I bought it because I think she looks sexy in it (and because I can live vicariously through her – I’d love to wear one, but I can’t say that I’d crossdress while running.)
  • Watched the Buckeyes beat up Cincinnati Saturday afternoon. Next up: Penn State at home.
  • Bake a cake from scratch for her birthday. I made one of those “cup-cake cakes”. It turned out pretty good for a first try at it. The next one will be better.
  • Block Party Saturday night with the neighbors. An interesting evening. Some of them I see all the time, others are just a wave in passing. It was fun, eating and drinking in the street.
  • I came in 3rd place for my age group in the 5K race.Mowed the lawn on Sunday during the Eagles game as it was the only time to do so. Probably pissed off a neighboor or two with the noise.
