For those of you in the beer sphere of the world, you may already have heard that Michael Jackson has died. (For those of you not in the beer sphere, Michael Jackson is/was regarded as the world authority on beer and beer styles.) I've read many of his articles and seen interviews on TV. If one wanted to know anything about beer, he's the first place to go to learn. Here's a few links for your reading:
As I was surfing around reading the various blog posts, I ran across this gem (I just can't figure out how to imbed the video. Any help out there?): http://youtube.com/watch?v=bRqFPAKQ7WU
The first part of the video kind of sums up my week. Not much going on, just a ho-hum week. The weekend, however, is looking up. The weather in Philly is cooling off to highs in the low-80's and sunny. We're sticking around here, so no time wasted traveling to far away places. There will be the usual grilling out, swimming, and just a small bit of yard work. And running, naturally. My legs felt like mud the last two runs, and feel a lot better today.

Thursday's Random Thoughts:
Running: Three weeks from Sunday is the Philly Distance Run, a half marathon. I'm ready for it. I'll do well for my first 1/2 as long as I keep up my training schedule and not become sick or injured. I just found out that the Philly Marathon in November no longer has team relays. The options now are the full marathon, a 1/2 marathon, and an 8K run. (Why do I keep misspelling 'marathon' as 'marathong'?) Running the 1/2 should not be a problem. I wonder if it is possible for me to go from running a 1/2 in September to a full in November as I've never run a full? I'm disappointed about the relay. Our neighborhood had 30+ people entering the relay the last couple years and it was a lot of fun hanging out with then during the race and the after-race party. Oh well. I'm sure there will still be a party.
Brewing: I haven't brewed beer since around New Year's day. Less than a case of the oatmeal stout left, and it keeps getting better with age. That's the rub with homebrewing - I want to drink it because its good, but I don't want to drink it because there's only a limited quantity. So I need to brew again, perhaps an Oktober Fest over Labor Day.
Photography: Anyone know of a good resource to learn how to take better photos of one's self? I take pretty good photos of others, just not me.
That is all,
Sheen V

TMI Tuesday #97
1. What’s the deal with blue balls? Here's the reference in Wikipedia and that looks pretty good to me. It must be noted here that my balls have never turned blue.
2. What is the hottest vehicular sex scene in a movie? I haven't seen all of the movies listed, and of those I have, the train scene from Risky Business is my pick. Side note: I just realized that the cute girl with whom I occasionally run does bare more than a passing resemblance to Rebecca De Mornay.
3. Strap-on? yes, no, give, receive? Yes. I haven't had the pleasure of receiving yet; it is something I'd like to try.
4. What is the average penis length? Again, according to Wikipedia, the average length is somewhere between 5 and 6 inches. Note to interested females: mine's about 8"; get it while you can! lol
5. How do you stimulate his prostate? Guys, do you like it? From what I've read in Wikipedia and experienced, it can be stimulated from two locations: the "taint" or from inside the rectum. Yes, I do like it. Its something to do during foreplay. Specifically, if she's giving me a footjob, I'll have her push the ball of her foot or heel against my taint. Not quite as good as the internal method, but she won't do that.
Bonus (as in optional): Confession Tuesday... tell me a secret! I'm such a dullard, I can't say I know much of anything that someone else doesn't already know. Most of the stuff that I'd call a "secret" I've written about here somewhere or another. I mean, if you knew me in real life and then read this blog, you'd be constantly saying "OMG, I didn't know that about you. Are you serious? I can't believe this? You, a crossdresser? Like, no way!"

Very Strange Dreams
I had some very strange dreams last night. Most of my dreams are unusual, but these kind of take the cake. Most strange dreams occur when I'm not feeling well. I ran 7.5 miles after work, and the inside of my elbow has been sore due to over working it at the gym the other day. The elbow's stiffness kept waking me up, and then I'd have another dream. And all I had before bed was one beer.
Dream #1: Scene 1: I was looking at a diagram about how they were going to remove the roof of a building. The roof was made of steel beams and sheet metal, and they were going to use a crane to pick it up in one piece. They were tearing the building down to make room for another. Scene 2: The new building was almost complete. It look a bit like the old one - steel frame that was painted orange and yellow, glass sheathing over top, more than 10 stories tall, curved walls (not a box) - only much bigger and more modern in design. They were working on putting the new roof on, and we (not sure who "we" were, but I was with a group of people) were sitting very close to the base of the building on a grassy hill eating lunch. I had a strange feeling and told everyone that we should not be sitting here as something could fall from above. Scene3: I look up and see someone falling from the top. As the person gets closer I see that it is a girl. Her face is looking right at me, and she's going to land very close to me. She does land not far behind me. Scene 4: The girl is laying on the grass. She has blond hair pulled back into a French braided ponytail. She's wearing a rag-wool sweater and dark jeans that are tucked into black riding boots. Everyone is screaming or crying. Another woman goes to her to see if she needs help, but someone else yells at the woman to let the girl alone, let her have some peace as she lies their dying. I look at the girl on the ground. There's some blood behind her head and her body starts to go into slight convulsions. Another yell to leave her alone. She starts to get up. I'm in disbelief as I assume many of her bones must be broken. She does get up, and her body and limbs are bent strangely. End of dream.
Dream #2: I'm now in that new building. It is a dormitory at the college I went to. I'm there with folks that I now work with. We're near the top of the building in the floor's cafeteria. The workers are setting the tables for breakfast. I think to myself that I had better to the registration office today as I'm going to start living there. This doesn't make sense, I think to myself. Why would work folks be here if I'm going back to school?
Dream #3: I'm at work but not at any place I've worked previously. I know this is work as I see people from many of the jobs where I've worked, and it appears to be some kind of manufacturing plant. We're outside and the sky is getting dark due to a storm that's rolling in from the distance. I think we're near a river that runs along the back of the plant, and I see Phil standing in front of a camera holding a sign that reads "I'm leaving at 3PM". As I keep walking outside Jeremy tells me that he has the stain that we need for the wood. I tell him that I'll get a scrap piece of wood that he can test the stain on. I go over to a wood pile to look for the scrap and I hear Maria talking to me from behind. She's says that she thinks Jeremy is from New Jersey. I think to myself that she wants to talk to me about something else and that's how she wants to start the conversation. (Real life note: I've had a huge crush on Maria since the day I met her. Every time I talk to her I'm as giddy as a schoolgirl. I have that song from West Side Story in my head every time I see her "Maria. I just met a girl named Maria...)
Dream #4: Scene 1: I'm driving a truck in the rain on a highway partially covered by gravel as part of a convoy of trucks. We're driving underneath an elevated highway (sort of like I-35 in Austin, TX). I have to quickly stop as the traffic light turns from green to red. The traffic light isn't the regular kind with three lights in a vertical line - it is just a single light that changes from red to green. Very odd, I think to myself, and even odder to have a traffic light on a highway. We get moving again and we're going too fast for the conditions, too much rain and gravel on the road. Scene 2: Now I'm far above the highway looking down, and I think that it is just a group of toys on a track. But they are going to fast as I can see that there's a traffic jam ahead of them. I try to tell them to slow down. No good. The first truck barrels through the traffic, going sideways and clearing a large swath of the highway. The other trucks behind the first slow down as they move through this cleared area. They must be toys, I think to myself, as none of the cars or trucks are wrecked.
Ok, those were the dreams. I often have the kinds of dreams in which I'm at a place that I've been previously but with acquaintances that don't belong there. The places are familiar, but not exactly as they were. Like the dormitory. I remember having a dream about being in a dormitory in which I lived during junior year in college. Only in the dream the halls were not straight or flat - one would have to go up or down a few steps every so often or turn left then right to keep going down it.
I recently read Selected Stories by Philip K Dick. He wrote the stories that were the basis for Total Recall, Minority Report, Blade Runner, Paycheck, A Scanner Darkly, to name a few. At least he had schizophrenia and drugs to fuel his unique visions.

TMI Tuesday #96
1. Define "infidelity" as it relates to a relationship. The dictionary states that it is the lack of faithfulness, and I'd agree and expand: the lack of faithfulness in thoughts and deeds. Have you ever been guilty of infidelity? No, and I'm sure she would think otherwise as she equates viewing porn as wrong, i.e., as a substitute for her. This was a big issue early on in our relationship. I think she now understands that it is not a substitute. Have you ever been the victim of infidelity? Have you ever been a participant in someone else's infidelity? Not that I'm aware of for both questions.
2. What is the last thing you stole? Oh me, oh my, I stole some ice cream yesterday. The building complex in which I work has a shared cafeteria. In the eating area one company (not the one I work for) had some ice cream set out for their folks as a "Thank You". Well, we saw people from other companies dig in, so I did too on my way out. Instant karma - I had a belly ache later.
3. Name on place in your country that you have never been but would like to visit and why. Either of the NASA locations in Texas or Florida. I've been a space nut ever since I was a kid. On one of my early birthday cakes was a plastic Gemini space capsule. I've tons of info from NASA about the space program. I've always wanted to go to one of the space centers to see the real things.
Side note: When I was a kid I really wanted to be an astronaut. I sometimes think that I'm better off that I didn't pursue that dream. The space program is a shell of what it could have been under better leadership (NASA management and the US government). On the other hand, maybe if I did go into that field I could have made some contribution to get it back on track.
4. Which movies can you watch over and over again? Monty Python's Search for the Holy Grail and The Meaning of Life, Star Wars Episode IV, Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery, LA Stories, Akira, Sixteen Candles. I'm sure there are others.
5. Who is the last person you saw naked? Her this morning. That's the trouble - seeing her naked and us also having to get to work so no time for fun. Just out of the shower fresh is my favorite time for having fun.
Bonus (as in optional): In honor of the 237 reasons we have sex study. Tell us at least five but not more than ten reason you have had sex.

- I wanted to achieve an orgasm.
- I wanted to experience the physical pleasure.
- I wanted to please my partner.
- I wanted to release anxiety/stress.
- I wanted to express my love for the person.
- I wanted to feel connected to the person.

I've finnally been able to take a picture of the elusive MILF that I've been seen on my way to work just about every morning. I'm pretty sure she's walking to the LA Fitness that's down the street to the right about another 1/2 mile. This photo was taken last week, and I got another one today that didn't turn out so well.

Not much going on today. Its finally raining and cooling off here in the greater Philadelphia area. I need another week of vacation. Last week was not enough. Oh well.
Instructional videos, or just some very hot porn? You be the judge. I just wish my orgasms were as intense as they seem to be.

Hi everyone! I'm back from vacation. Pictures are posted below for your viewing pleasure that I took with my cell phone's camera. Apparently I was sending them to a new blog address and not the one that I had set up a while ago.
It was a very good week. It rained a bit on Sunday and Monday, and the rest of the week was sunny and warm with low humidity. I did all the stuff we do at the shore: caught some rays and read at the beach; ran a few times; ate seafood, ice cream and drank beer everyday; played miniature golf; swam at the motel's pool; and "studied" lots of anatomy of the female type everywhere I went. The bikini is such the perfect article of clothing. Some say it leaves nothing to the imagination, however, my imagination seems to go into overdrive when I see a woman in a perfectly fitted bikini. The only thing lacking was any form of sexual activity. Too much family around. And nothing makes me hornier than being in the water with lots of said female anatomy around for my viewing pleasure. I'll have to make up for it this week. On our way back yesterday we stopped at Atlantic City for a few hours to walk the boardwalk. We need to go there sometime for at least a night's stay.
And finally, thankfully, none of us in the office were let go last week. The layoffs hit others locations.
